About Mendoza Dryer Vent and Chimney Cleaning Company

Matawan’s older homes, especially those built before the 1980s, have chimneys that tell a story. The brickwork might be solid, but the liners, flues, and mortar joints often hide decades of creosote buildup, cracked tiles, or even water damage from those coastal rains. That’s where Mendoza Dryer Vent and Chimney Cleaning Company comes in. We specialize in the kind of work that keeps these historic homes safe, not just for the holidays but year-round. Our crew knows the quirks of Matawan’s architecture: the way older chimneys settle, how the salt air can corrode metal parts, and why a quick sweep isn’t always enough when you’ve got a 100-year-old masonry stack.

What sets us apart isn’t just the tools we use, it’s the way we look at chimneys. Most sweeps will brush out the soot and call it a day. We dig deeper. We check for hidden gaps where smoke could leak into your attic, inspect the liner for cracks that let carbon monoxide seep into your home, and make sure the damper seals tight against Matawan’s damp winters. We’ve seen chimneys in this area with liners that were installed wrong decades ago, or bricks that’ve shifted over time. Those aren’t problems you spot in a cursory glance. They’re the kind of details that keep your family safe, and that’s what we focus on.

Whether you’re lighting your fireplace for the first time after a long summer or you’ve noticed drafts coming from the chimney when it’s not even in use, we’re the team to call. Our work isn’t just about cleaning; it’s about giving you peace of mind. We handle everything from routine sweeps to full masonry repairs, and we do it all with the same care we’d take on our own homes. No gimmicks, no upselling, just honest work for homes that matter. If your chimney’s been neglected, or if you’re buying an older house in Matawan and want to make sure it’s sound, let’s talk. We’ll tell you straight what’s wrong and how to fix it.
